Traveler, businesswoman, golfer, musician, mentor, philosophizer, equestrian, voice of reason, Clue player extraordinaire, dreamer of orca whales and owls. These are just a few ways to describe Olivia Danielle Vera, though nothing epitomizes the essence of her character quite as wholly as the word "artist." 

Vera's creative vision has always extended beyond the canvas. From each carefully placed artifact on the shelves of her room, to every calligraphed note passed to friends in class, to every inventive line of HTML coded into her erstwhile Myspace page, Vera has crafted her life into a work of art in and of its own. 

Vera has loved creating art since she was a toddler doodling ghosts and flowers on the covers of her elementary textbooks. Her artistry was deftly cultivated throughout the array of art courses she took in high school. With the subtle encouragement of loved ones, she rediscovered her passion for art post-college in the form of watercolors, acrylic paint, and digital drawings. 

Born and raised in the East Bay Area, Vera's style exudes authentic warmth with a dash of Nor Cal cool. Her academic background in Biology is represented well in her pieces, as many of her piece's subjects are living creatures. The realism deftly manifested in her work blends with soft lines and bold colors, a glowing mix of science and art, head and heart.
